Turn Around! Don’t Drown! DO NOT drive through standing water! Heavy rain may cause flooding in or near drainage areas and underpasses. Remember that it is difficult to predict the depth of water anytime and nightfall increases the difficulty. Public Works crews from our Roads & Operations and Signs & Markings divisions have been monitoring and staging barricades in high risk areas, ready to barricade intersections to keep the public from driving through unsafe areas.
