District 10 news

Wishing you a healthy and happy 2022!

Happy New Year

While 2021 has brought its share of loss, anxiety, and uncertainty, there has been a lot of good. People have come together to support one another in a difficult time.

I remain hopeful for the possibilities of the new year.

As we ring in the new year, we remember those lost to the pandemic, pray for those who grieve, and thank those who have worked hard to keep everyone safe and healthy.

I thank you for the opportunity to serve as your District 10 councilman and look forward to 2022.

R.I.P. John Fitzpatrick King, Sr.

We extend our sympathies to the family of John King, Sr. The brother of former Louisville Metro Council President Jim King, John honored Jim's memory by serving as chair of the Kentucky/Indiana Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, raising more than $250,000 for the organization.

John King is known to many as a longtime radio announcer for Trinity High School football and announcer for Assumption High School volleyball.

Funeral arrangements and complete obituary are here
