Norton Healthcare opens new facility in former Walmart market

Norton opens new clinic

Above, left to right, Dillon Campbell, Administrative Fellow at Norton Medical Group, Councilman Mulvihill, and Patrick Simmons, Director, Practice Operations at Norton Healthcare.

Wednesday, Councilman Mulvihill toured the new Norton Healthcare facility at 3101 Poplar Level Road. The facility, with more than 40,000 square feet, houses multiple medical practices next to Norton Audubon Hospital.

The Norton Immediate Care Center, Norton Community Medical Associates – Audubon offices, and a CPA Laboratory collection area now fill the area once busy with shoppers at the former Walmart Neighborhood Market.

The Norton Immediate Care Center opened this week. Patients can reserve a spot online and wait at home for notice to be seen.

Moving the primary care offices from the hospital has allowed for expansion of the Heart and Vascular Departments at Norton Audubon Hospital.
