Senior softball World Champs honored at Louisville Bats game
Louisville's newest championship team was honored at Tuesday's Louisville Bats game.
The Icemen senior softball team won the Softball Players' Association World Championship at the Ridge Hooks Memorial tournament in Columbus, Ohio, August 12. The team's home field is Al Benninger Field at Camp Taylor Memorial Park, which is named after Al Benninger, who served as the commissioner of the Louisville Senior Softball League for many years.
