2021 Pride Month

Pride flag

Each June, millions of people around the world observe Pride Month with marches, celebrations, educational events, and even memorial events to honor victims of hate crimes and those lost to HIV/AIDS.

Pride Month is a great time to reach out and learn more about people in the LGBTQ community, to volunteer, and to advocate for the fairness yet to come. Would you like to know more about the history of Pride, other important LGBTQ sites in history, and how to connect with local organizations? Visit Louisville Metro's Pride Page

The show went on!

Shakespeare at Emerson Park

A short rain delay during the show didn't spoil a wonderful closing night performance in Emerson Park for Romeo and Juliet, presented by Shakespeare in the Parks.

Shakespeare at Emerson Park

A big thank you to Matt Wallace, D10 resident and Producing Artistic Director and to Amy Attaway, Director.

Councilman Mulvihill is glad to sponsor Kentucky Shakespeare and help make this return to live theatre possible.
