Join cyclists, paddlers and walkers for the Mayor’s Hike Bike & Paddle - Presented by Norton Sports Health, Coca-Cola Consolidated, Mix 106.9 and WLKY on Monday, May 31 as it returns for a 17th consecutive Monday, May 31, Memorial Day at Waterfront Park. Bike to Shawnee Park, Hike to the Big Four Bridge and Paddle upstream to Beargrass Creek. A rolling start between 9am – 10am for all signature features will help ensure participants will be socially distanced. Let's get back out there, Louisville!

Kentucky Shakespeare will be performing Romeo & Juliet in Emerson Park on Friday, May 28th at 6:30 PM. SACC will provide free pre-packaged snacks to attendees.

Echoing the excitement of Abbey Road on the River, Penny Lane at The Park will honor and celebrate the music of The Beatles and the 1960’s in a smaller, socially distanced setting with food trucks, vendors, art installations and more. Join us for non-stop music on two stages from 10-12 bands including The Newbees, Hard Day’s Night, The Rigby’s, Louisville’s School of Rock, and special guests all the way from San Juan Puerto Rico – the Jukebox Beatles. Tickets can be purchased at AROTR.com and cost $10 per person. Children 10 and under are free.

The annual Ali Festival, a celebration that marks the anniversary of Muhammad Ali’s passing and celebrates his impactful legacy and love for Louisville, will take place June 3-13, 2021. With the recent societal issues that continue to shake up our world—the coronavirus pandemic, a reawakening of racial justice and equality, and a consequent downturn in the tourism industry—the 2021 Muhammad Ali Festival is crafted to provide inspiration, entertainment, education, and activation through events that generate a sense of unity, justice, and a rebirth of Muhammad Ali’s hometown of Louisville.
