COVID vaccine supply has caught up with demand. There are now appointments available through our hospital partners at UofL Health, Norton Healthcare and many pharmacies.
Some are available now!
Links to all providers are available on the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness website at: louisvilleky.gov/vaccine.

We must now pivot from asking for patience to encouraging haste. Together we can protect our community from preventable illness and death.
LouVax Going Mobile to Reach Vulnerable Communities
On Tuesday, Dr. SarahBeth Hartlage, Associate Medical Director of Metro Health and Wellness announced that it will begin to phase out drive-thru operations and shift to deploying resources towards mobile vaccination missions through LouVax-Mobile.
Dr. Hartlage said the expanded capacity of vaccination sites such as Cardinal Stadium allows the health department to focus on vulnerable populations.
"As a health department, our mission is to serve those at the highest risk, and those who have the most barriers to access care," she said. "A mass vaccination site is not the best way to reach those people."
LouVax will give its last primary doses Friday, April 9 and remain open through the end of April to give second doses to everyone that received their first dose from the site.
Here are the key stats for vaccinations in Metro Louisville:
- Citywide, 419,673 total doses have been administered between the LouVax site and its healthcare system community partners, Norton Healthcare, UofL Health and Baptist Health. Of that total number, 148,195 have completed both doses
- Through its LouVax site, the Louisville Department of Public Health and Wellness has given 77,675 doses to date.
