UPDATE: City of Jeffersontown will hear Case #19-ZONE-0016, Smith Watterson Trail Condos, at their February 4th City Council Meeting at 6PM

Case #19-ZONE-0016 will be heard at City of Jeffersontown’s City Council Meeting on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 6:00 PM.  J-town’s Council Meetings are open to the public and held at Jeffersontown City Hall, 10416 Watterson Trail.

Case Background:

At the January 6, 2020 public night hearing, Metro's Planning Commission unanimously voted to approve (7-0) the zoning change from R-4 to R-5A to allow for 3 condominium buildings totaling 21 units for properties located at 4303-4305 Stony Brook Dr. and 8601-8607 Watterson Trl.  Commissioners also approved (7-0) the Detailed District Development Plan with binding elements.

The rendering below shows the approved plan that has a "right turn in only" from Stony Brook Dr. and a "right turn in" and "right turn out" from Watterson Trl. The applicant will be required to install delineators on Watterson Trl. to prevent illegal left turns out of development.

The applicant will partner with City of Jeffersontown to construct a 10' multi-use path.

Metro’s Planning Commission sent their approval recommendations to City of Jeffersontown for final action.
