Meeting regarding Newburg Road safety

Newburg meeting

Councilman Mulvihill joined a panel Wednesday evening  at the Upper Highlands Neighborhood Association (UHNA) meeting to discuss residents' concerns about safety along Newburg Road.

The meeting, held at Sullivan University's School of Pharmacy, was well attended.

Neighbors voiced concerns about recent accidents along Newburg that damaged the historic stone wall near Tartan Way, and about increased traffic from a proposed development on Newburg.

The Offices of the Louisville Metro Council and the Metro Council Clerk will be closed on Monday, January 20 in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.

The offices will reopen on Tuesday, January 21.
