Meeting regarding ABC application
Councilman Mulvihill met Wednesday with Schnitzelburg Area Community Council and German-Paristown Neighborhood Association leaders and other concerned neighbors to discuss the recent re-application for packaged liquor sales at 1036 Goss Avenue.
The applicant was denied such a license in 2017 by the Louisville Metro ABC and state ABC and that application is currently under appeal in Jefferson Circuit Court.
The District 10 office opposed the previous application and is opposing the current application as well.
Councilman Mulvihil thanks the leaders of SACC and GPNA for their leadership and participation on this issue as well as concerned residents who came out to discuss the application for another retail package liquor store in the area.

Stolen food truck located thanks to social media
Thanks to the help of alert Facebook users, a food truck stolen from Four Pegs in Germantown was recovered in a matter of hours on Tuesday.
Four Pegs General Manager Chris Williams posted about the theft on Facebook and asked his followers to share. They did, and a woman in Shively spotted the truck and reported it.
Concerned neighbors and business owners are forming a Neighborhood Block Watch group - we will share information on this group as it develops.
