Ninety-nine trees planted in Buechel Park!

Tree planting group Buechel Park

District 10 Legislative Assistant Geoff Wohl joined a group of volunteers Friday to plant 99 trees in Buechel Park. The group included Metro Parks employees, neighbor volunteers, Walter Munday of Metro Parks, Sarah Flarsheim, Volunteer Program Coordinator for Metro Parks, and Bellarmine student volunteers.

Councilman Mulvihill was encouraged to see the good turnout of volunteers, including neighbors from the Buechel Terrace area.

Tree planting will go on in Schnitzelburg and Meriwether tomorrow morning with Louisville Grows. Details are under District 10 events below.
