Sustainability Summit Follow-Up

The Office of Advanced Planning and Sustainability, the Louisville Sustainability Council, and the Louisville Zoo co-hosted the 6th Annual Sustainability Summit on Friday, November 1 at the Louisville Zoo. The event brought together nearly 200 people and focused on inspiring action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions locally.

The keynote speaker, Dr. Robert Brinkmann, shared seven ways to advance your sustainability agenda in a time of change, and a panel of local leaders discussed how their organizations are working to combat greenhouse gas emissions. Youth activism and performance group The Mighty Shades of Ebony also debuted their new song on climate change, titled “Anthropogenic,” which received a standing ovation.
