Dear Neighbor,
This morning, we received a notice (dated October 31) this morning regarding a Neighborhood Meeting to be held Thursday, November 14th at 6:00 pm at the Jewish Community Center. The communication came from the development team in advance of their application for a conditional use permit and development plan. They initially held a meeting earlier this year and are required to have one closer to the application filing than the earlier meeting. The notice was not timely getting to our office (although adjacent property owners may have been timely notified), and we wanted to let you know as soon as possible.
After receiving the notice we contacted the developer and Louisville Metro Planning and Design Services, who received the notice initially (also this morning). The developer has agreed to hold an additional neighborhood meeting, which they will announce at Thursday’s meeting.
Someone from our office will be present at Thursday’s meeting and we will let you know the details on the third meeting after Thursday’s meeting.
