Councilman Mulvihill met Thursday morning with the planners of the upcoming Trifesta Music Festivals to be informed of details and to help assess and minimize the impact on D-10 residents.

The event planners have provided our office with a Community Hotline, (502) 264-9933. Please feel free to call it with issues and concerns related to these events. The hotline will be monitored by operators during each of the three events. We hope the hotline will be a valuable tool for the event planners going forward.

The festivals are Hometown Rising, Bourbon & Beyond and Louder Than Life, which will be at the Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Expo Center, 937 Phillips Lane. The festivals will begin September 14. Please note that Phillips Ln, from the viaduct at I-65 to Gate #1 of the Kentucky Exposition Center, will be closed during these events starting on Monday, September 9, 2019 through Tuesday, October 1, 2019. The entrances of the businesses and Phillips Ln from the intersection of Preston Hwy to the Viaduct at I-65 will remain open.

In the photo above, Councilman Mulvihill spoke with Karen Williams, President and CEO of Louisville Tourism at the meeting.
