Northeast Regional Library Opening

NERL

There is still work to be done, but we finally have a date for the grand opening of the Northeast Regional Library! This state-of-the-art facility will open its doors to the public on Monday, June 24. Among the amenities offered will be:

  • 120,000 books and materials
  • Several meeting rooms
  • An auditorium
  • A large children’s area (and separate teen space)
  • A “Makerspace” with audio/visual lab and demonstration kitchen

I hope you will join me and others in celebrating this momentous occasion at 10 a.m. that day. There will be tours of the library, refreshments, and activities for the entire family. This event is free and open to the public. If you are interested in getting your library card to fully enjoy all this new library will offer, click here.
