Public Input Needed on Public Pools

Louisville Parks and Recreation is seeking information from pool users to determine next steps in accommodating the public during the summer swim season. I know you’re aware with our budget situation we will not be opening our four outdoor pools this year. Current and future pool users can fill out the attached survey and bring it to us on Saturday, May 18, at the following sites/times:

1. Algonquin        (Saturday, May 18^th from 1-3 p.m.)
2. Camp Taylor   (Saturday, May 18^th from 10 a.m. – noon)
3. Fairdale           (Saturday, May 18^th from 1-3 p.m.)
4. Sun Valley       (Saturday, May 18^th from 10 a.m. – noon)

The other option is an online survey through Survey Monkey at the link below:

We will also have paper surveys citizens can fill out on site May 18. A flyer is also attached that you can share in your newsletter with the sites/times. If you don’t mind, please embargo it until Wednesday, May 8 so we can ensure that all the appropriate council members are contacted with this information. Thanks for your help!
