District 17 Town Hall

I will host a town hall meeting on Monday, April 22 at 6 p.m. in the community room of Republic Bank, 9600 Brownsboro Road. State Senator Julie Raque Adams, State Representative Maria Sorolis, and State Representative Jerry Miller are scheduled to attend. They will discuss the recent legislative session and answer any questions you might have. In addition, representatives from LMPD's 8th Division, MSD, Metro Codes and Regulations, and some of our suburban fire districts will be present to address any concerns.

WHEN: Monday, April 22 at 6:00 p.m.

WHERE: Republic Bank, 9600 Brownsboro Road

My goal is to make these meetings as informative and useful as possible. If there is an agency you would like represented or a topic you would like to see discussed at a future meeting, please let me know. 


Free Disposal Event

Have some old prescription medication you'd like to dispose of properly? Are there items in your garage you'd like to get rid of? Is that old television taking up too much space?

On Saturday, May 11 from 9:00 a.m. until noon, bring these items and more to the parking lot west of the Middletown Target, 12975 Shelbyville Road. Services provided will include shredding, junk drop-off, electronics recycling, and prescription drug take-back.

Items NOT accepted include:

  • Construction and demolition materials
  • Paint and other hazardous waste
  • Tree and limb debris
  • Rock
  • Shingles
  • Concrete
  • Refrigerators


WHEN: Saturday, May 11 from 9:00 a.m. until noon


WHERE: Parking lot west of Target, 12975 Shelbyville Road

This event is for Jefferson County residents only. Items from businesses will not be accepted. If you have any questions about what items will be accepted, please contact the District 17 office.
