International Women's Day Event

On March 9, 2019, Iroquois Public Library held an event to celebrate International Women around the world.

OFW shared a table with the League of Women Voters. There were many countries represented with women proudly dressed in beautiful customary garb from their culture. There was also traditional food served from each culture.

Several immigrants were granted citizenship and were registered to vote for the first time in their lives!
