The Marshall is the first of many projects that will transform University Corridor and give residents and visitors a feeling of place near the university and Churchill Downs. I applaud Jack Dulworth and his partners on making this bold investment and look forward to other developments along the corridor.

The "Meals on Wheels" program need additional volunteers to deliver "hot meals" to homebound seniors in South Louisville every day. The meals are sorted and picked up at Beechmont Community Center, and volunteers are responsible for delivering the meals to seniors in need. These volunteers, who may be the only people the elderly clients see regularly, support good nutritional health but also promote their independence and well-being. To volunteer, contact South Louisville Community Ministries at 361-7763.
