This past week President David James has made it a priority to speak with the men and women in our community and help with any questions or concerns you may have. 

The first Talk with David meeting was held at the South Louisville Community Center and the second was held at Baptist Towers. In both meetings, constituents were able to voice any concerns or questions they had with President James directly. 

Future community meetings have been scheduled so that every community will have the opportunity to speak with President James. 

Meetings scheduled for June are as follows:

3.       9th – Puritan The Apartments - 10am - 11am.
4.       13th – Hillenbrand House – 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
5.       14th – Kling Center – 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
6.       15th – California Square – 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
7.       20th – St. Catherine Court - 12:00 p.m - 1:00 p.m.

Talk with David meetings for the Parkhill and California neighborhoods are being scheduled for later dates and will be announced in a timely manner.  


The Color Run June 9th: Street Closures

THE COLOR RUN 2018 The following streets will be closed, or have their traffic diverted on Saturday June 9th for the 2018 Color Run. 

There will be NO PARKING on the streets listed below from 4 am to 12pm. Adjacent streets will also be affected by this event. 

  • Witherspoon from Brook to Preston 
  • Hancock from Franklin to Market 
  • Witherspoon from Adams to Shelby 
  • Preston from Main to Witherspoon 
  • River Road from Witherspoon and Preston to Witherspoon & the Big Four Bridge 
  • Witherspoon from Preston to Shelby
  • Clay from Witherspoon to Franklin 
  • Franklin from Clay to Hancock 
  • Main from Preston to Baxter 
  • Story from Main to Johnson
  • Baxter from Main to Market
