Honoring Officer Nick Rodman

Nick Rodman

Last Thursday, Louisville paused to honour Officer Nick Rodman, who was killed in the line of duty last March. The street before the 1st Division headquarters was dedicated to his memory, and a painting commemorates him on the entrance wall of the First Division headquarters.

Ceremony

Officials from across Louisville, including President James, Mayor Fischer, Chief Conrad, and First Division Commander Eric Johnson, spoke at the ceremony.

Sign

As a city, we grieve the passing of a passionate community servant, and are thankful for his many years of service. We're thankful for our officers who work daily for justice and peace, and are ready if need be to make the ultimate sacrifice for the people of Louisville.
