TARC Electronic Fare System Public Hearing Tuesday, August 15th 5pm-7pm @ Bon Air Public Library
TARC is planning to replace the fare collection systems it has been using for 25 years with electronic smart cards.
The new fare collection system will allow passengers to pay for their rides with the tap of a smartcard as they board a TARC bus. Fares will not increase and cash – exact fare – will still be an option for payment.
The new Smartcards will replace all paper products - tickets, passes and paper transfer slips throughout the system, except on TARC3. Electronic transfers between routes will be available after launch.

St. Joseph Children’s Home, 2823 Frankfort Avenue, will host the 168th Annual St. Joe’s Picnic on Friday, August 11 and Saturday, August 12. The Picnic Pre-Party is Friday from 6:00 – 11:00 p.m. Picnic Day Saturday is from Noon – midnight. VIP tickets are still available by calling 893-0241; VIP tickets include air-conditioned tent, tables, chicken dinner buffet, live music, bar service and restrooms.

Show your Seneca Park Pride and help make a difference by volunteering with the Olmsted Parks Conservancy! Tasks may include weeding, mulching, painting and general park beautification. Gloves, guidance and tools provided. Dress for the weather and getting dirty! Long pants with tennis shoes or old boots are recommended- no sandals please.
