Clothing Assistance
As JCPS
students head back to school, an annual program is making sure every student
has the outfits they need to kick off the new school year. In a warehouse just
west of downtown Louisville hundreds of shirts, pants, and jackets hang and
will soon be chosen by families who need back to school outfits. JCPS’s
Clothing Assistance Program annual CAP Blitz starts Monday, July 31 at Central
High School’s football stadium. “You don’t have to worry about if you’ve got a
nice uniform, you are right there taken care of,” 15th District PTA President
Autumn Neagle said. “So you get a new uniform shirt, a new uniform pair of
pants, five pairs of socks, five pairs of underwear and a belt.”
