Spend a Saturday morning wandering around historic neighborhood, Old Louisville with expert architect and historian, Steve Wiser, FAIA. Wiser will lead a short talk and walking tour exploring the network of alleys that intersect the Old Lou neighborhood streets and explain how these massive detached structures were at times more elaborate than the main house(s).

Originally built to shelter horses and carriages, located on the rear alleys of the city, these structures were anything but utilitarian.  Find out more about these distinctive buildings and how they have been wonderfully transformed into modern uses today.
