Thanks to District 10 beautification volunteers for cleaning up the mural wall area
Many thanks to John Nitzken and folks from John Nitzken Realtors for cleaning up the mural area at the corner of Belmar and Poplar Level Road recently. Taking the lead of generous District 10 volunteer Justin Eisenbach, who repainted the kids' playground train at Buechel Park earlier this year, Nitzken and crew removed debris, weeds, and truckloads of leaves from the mural area. District 10 and Camp Taylor residents appreciate the effort and improvements made.
Please join the District 10 volunteers - when we work together, we can make a big difference in our community. If you can help, please call or email our office.

LMPD will issue citations to those who leave cars running and unoccupied
A warning from the Louisville Metro Police Department:
Officers will issue a citation to the owners of any vehicles
that they observe running and unoccupied.
This enforcement is to deter people from leaving their vehicles running and
unattended, which creates an opportunity for criminals.

approximately five weeks. Generally, construction will move east toward
Cherokee Park.

Louisville Water will continue to update customers on the impact
of the project. Communications channels include emails,
Twitter updates, a dedicated web page at LouisvilleWater.com/EasternPkwyProject
showing construction and traffic, and frequent media updates.
LG&E

ATT Access to provide
low-cost internet plans to eligible households
Access to the internet is no longer a luxury. It is a necessity.
Citizens need access to the internet in order to apply for jobs, access
educational resources and government services. Households and individuals that
do not have access to a home internet connection are at a disadvantage.
Due to recent actions by the Federal Government, Internet
Service Providers are starting to offer low-cost internet plans to eligible
households. Right now, AT&T is the only internet service provider in
Louisville offering low-cost internet plans to qualified individuals.
Its plan is called "AT&T Access". It costs between
$5 and $10 a month for a home network and modem with no installation or
activation charges, and it is available to residents that have at least one
member in their household enrolled in the SNAP program.
For more information, please visit:https://www.att.com/shop/internet/access/#/
AT&T retail stores are not able to process Access from
AT&T applications or orders. You must access the application on the website and submit the form online or via
email. You may also print the form and send via fax or mail. If you experience
difficulties with the online form, you can contact an AT&T representative
by phone at 855.220.5211. (For help in Spanish, call 855.220.5225.)

Or mulch leaves into your lawn
Mowing tree leaves in the autumn and returning them to the turf system is an outstanding alternative to raking and bagging. Studies have shown the positive effects of mowing tree leaves into lawns. To do this, take the grass catcher off your mower and mow over the leaves on your lawn. You want to reduce your leaves to dime-size pieces. You’ll know you’re done when about half an inch of grass can be seen through the mulched leaf layer.
