It's that time again; LG&E is conducting surveys across Louisville, and this year their survey area will include our district. As LG&E states, it's unlikely you'll go through inconvenience even if your home is surveyed; still, be aware that if your gas meter outlet is behind a fence or inside your home, you might need to let an LG&E representative in to inspect. For more details, click here at LG&E's website and let natural gas warm your heart as well as your house.

On June 3rd, local civic and community leaders will gather in front of KYRRC, a one-stop shop to assist men and women starting their journey in living a sober and healthy lifestyle, for a ribbon cutting and celebration of the new addition to the recovery community. The resource center helps recovering addicts who are reentering the community after leaving treatment centers or being released from prison. When they leave treatment, KYRRC has a long-term sober living community to take them in, help them find a job, improve their computer skills, and change their way of thinking. The Mayor will be in attendance for the center's opening, as will many other community leaders.
