Paving in District 7 this Week

Below is the list of roads Metro Public Works has scheduled for resurfacing the week of April 11, 2016.

Please be mindful that this schedule is of an advisory nature and is subject to change with no notice due to weather and operational factors.

In District 7: 

  • Rudy Lane from Brownsboro Road to N. Hubbards Lane

Around Metro Louisville: Paving crews will be working on resurcing the following roads: 

  • Arcade Ave from 7th Street to Taylor Blvd
  • Richmond Ave from Bardstown Road to Norris Place
  • Aiken Road from North English Station Road to Bush Farm Road
  • Payne St. from Franck Ave to dead end
  • Emerald Ave from Coral Ave to N. Bellaire Ave
  • Independence School Road from Thixton to Evanwood Dr. 

Roadway improvements, in preparation for future paving, will occur on Fairmont Road, S Pope Lick Road and S English Station Road.


Free Naloxone Kits and Training Session to Be Offered in District 7 Tomorrow

Narcan Training

The Kentucky Harm Reduction Coalition will offer free Naloxone (also referred to by its brand name as Narcan®) kits and a training session on how to administer it to reverse the effects of overdose from heroin and other opioid drugs and prevent death.
