IPads For Education!

Councilman David James helped supply 10 IPads through a Neighborhood Development Fund Grant to the Exceptional Teens & Adults Center (ETA)located at 724 West Breckinridge Street.

These Ipads will be used for the Exceptional Child Education Out-Of-School Time Summer Enhancement Camp as well as other programs designed to give special needs students an opportunity to retain and enhance educational and social kills.

Exceptional Teens & Adults is a structured program for adults and teens that have Autism, Down syndrome, and other developmental or intellectual disabilities. They have been providing care and support to adults and the youth since 1999. Exceptional Teens & Adults serves in two ways—a for profit business in a day setting for adults, and a nonprofit for teens providing after-school programming during the school year and school break programs including the fall, winter, spring, and summer breaks.

A Message From Louisville Metro Police Department 4th Division!

,ghk

Happy New Year at all our block watch captains, association presidents, and other community leaders who work with LMPD Fourth Division to decrease crime and increase the quality in our community. Your efforts do not go unnoticed and they do make a positive impact in our efforts to provide the community with the best service possible.

One of our goals is to increase the number of people who receive our crime bulletins, tips, and notices and we need your help to achieve this goal. Currently we have 1,921 subscribers to our newsletters and updates. Informing the public is a primary effort on our part because 80% of crime occurs simply because there is an opportunity. It is imperative that we have a means to notify you of things to be aware of in order to stay vigilant in keeping your neighborhood safe.

Forth Division 502-574-7010
