New Trail Ends at Watson Lane and Lower River Road
Councilwoman Fowler and Mayor Fischer joined with others at the Grand Opening of the newest segment of the Louisville Loop.
The Louisville Loop, when completed, will be a 100-mile multi-use trail that will encircle the entire city, connecting our neighborhoods in a healthy, dynamic new way.
The new trail segment begins at Riverside, The Farnsley-Moremen Landing and ends at Watson Lane and Lower River Road, near the Valley Village neighborhood for approximately 2.6 miles worth of beautiful views of the Ohio River and Knobs.
The project was made possible with funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and overseen by Metro Parks.
Visit the Louisville Loop webpage HERE for more information.
Drop-off from 11 am to 3 pm.
