The free service is available for residents of Louisville
only and it does not include commercial haulers. No construction debris or
yard waste will be accepted. To qualify for the free drop-off, residents must
present the attendant with two forms of identification verifying Louisville
residency. If a citizen hires an individual or business to remove debris, the
citizen must accompany the hauler to the drop-off center or provide the hauler
with the same two forms of identification to present at the facility. Drop-off
sites will be open until April 25th and are as follows:

 New Directions Housing is now accepting application for Repair
Affair 2015 until April 30, 2015. Repair Affair is completely volunteer-drive.
All repair work is performed by volunteers. Repair Affair is not a decorating,
remodeling, or an emergency repair program. Repair Affair is for small repairs
that improve the safety, security, and weather efficiency of the home. We do not
guarantee assistance to everyone who applies. There is no cost to apply, but
there are several eligibility requirements for Repair Affair: To qualify you
must:
- Be 60 years of age or older or certified disabled;
- Own and reside in a single-family home;
- Qualify as low income

 Due to the rain, the South Louisville Community Ministries Golf Scramble is rescheduled for Monday, April 27th! It will be held at Iroquois Golf Course. Registration starts at 7:00 a.m. with a
continental breakfast. Shotgun start is at 8:00. There will be a picnic lunch
following golf. This year's honorary chairman, Darrell Griffith, will be
present to sign autographs and award prizes. Openings available for
additional teams as well as individuals! Cost is $100 per player or $400 for a team of four.

holes on the course. Other fun included, such as silent auction

CLINIC: An attorney will be on hand to discuss the expungement process and which charges can be expunged. Attendees are encouraged to bring a copy of their criminal record which shows the disposition of each case. A copy of the record may be obtained from Court Archives located in the basement of the Old Jail Building at 514 West Liberty Street in Louisville.

looking to invest in a project that is innovative, impactful and will transform
our hometown. Nonprofits should submit their online application between now and
11:59 p.m., Friday, May 8th. [give] 502 members will review the
grants May – July and the winner of the $25,000 grant will be announced in
August 2015.

 Louisville Metro Public Health and Wellness’s Center for Health Equity is now taking applications for the Healing Futures Fellowship summer program. The program is open to youth ages 15 to 18 that are entering their sophomore, junior or senior year of high school in the fall of 2015. The Healing Futures Fellowship brings together young people from neighborhoods throughout Louisville to engage them in thoughtful discussion and exploration of the underlying causes and solutions to violence, injury prevention and inequity. The program will be held June 6th through July 31st. It is comprised of classroom and field sessions seven hours a day, five days a week. After completing the program, students are awarded a stipend up to $1,000. The application process involves writing a 500 word essay. The deadline for applications is April 30th. Refuge Louisville, a local non-profit aimed at blessing the nations represented in our city through holistic community development and gospel proclamation, is excited to announce their upcoming Market at 5007. Held bi-annually, these markets, selling locally made wares, handicrafts, and foods, allow migrant artisans a way to support their families.
