Administrative Law Judge
Kentucky Department of Workers’ Claims
The Workers’ Compensation Nominating Committee is now accepting applications to fill two Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) positions in the Kentucky Department of Workers’ Claims for a term beginning January 1, 2024 and expiring December 31, 2027. These are full-time positions and appointees shall not hold any other public office or maintain any private practice.
Pursuant to KRS 342.230(2), an applicant must be a licensed attorney with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the Commonwealth in the practice of workers’ compensation law or a related field and have extensive knowledge of workers’ compensation law. The salary to be paid is that of a Circuit Court Judge.
Applications shall include a cover letter, current resume and a completed Application Supplement. Applications shall be submitted via email to Derrick.Hill@ky.gov and must be received on or before noon (ET) Wednesday, September 13, 2023.
