Question of the Week
Q: When may districts begin administering the TAR?
A: The Transition Attainment Record (TAR) administration begins today, Monday, Oct. 12. The lead team member must complete the TAR Training and Qualification quiz in addition to the Administration Code Training and Inclusion of Special Populations Training prior to beginning administration of the TAR. All members of the team assisting with TAR administration are required to complete the Administration Code and Inclusion of Special Populations trainings.
The TAR administration window is Monday, Oct. 12 through Wednesday, May 26, 2027. The deadline to enter the scores into the Student Registration Database (SRD) is Friday, May 28, 2027. A TAR retake request form will be available once the SRD opens on Monday, Nov. 9.

Reminder: K Screen Online Management System Closing Oct. 15
The K Screen Online Management System (OMS) window for entering Core Assessment and Self-Help and Social-Emotional Skills data will close on Thursday, Oct. 15 at 12:00 a.m. ET. Any data entered into the system after this time will not be included in the final data collection for the K Screen process.
Additionally, Prior Settings data must be entered into Infinite Campus by this deadline. Ensuring that all information is complete and accurate before the system closes will help maintain the integrity of the K Screen data collection process.
