Title III Immigrant Reporting
KDE will extract immigrant student data on Oct. 19, based on data as of Oct. 13, to determine Title III Immigrant Subgrant eligibility and allocations. Districts should run the Title III Immigrant Report to verify data accuracy. Refer to the “Quick Reference Card” for report details and usage and the “Immigrant Data Standards” for data-entry and reporting guidance.
Contact Windy Spalding or Margalee Conlee with questions about Infinite Campus data. Contact Chris Williams with questions about assessment pre-code labels.

New WIDA Resources
Looking for ways to deepen students’ understanding of how language is used across content areas? Two new WIDA resources can help teachers and students make stronger connections between language, text and meaning.
“Exploring Key Language Uses Across Content Areas” helps educators understand how the WIDA Key Language Uses appear across disciplines through authentic text examples and classroom connections.
Complementing this resource, “Discovering Text Purposes Through the WIDA Key Language Uses” helps students identify the purpose of a text and recognize how authors use language to communicate different ideas and meanings. Together, these resources offer practical ways to support language development while engaging students with grade-level content.
