Corrected 2026 WIDA ACCESS/Alternate ACCESS Scores
The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) has completed a review and validation of individual student scores for Kentucky English Learners (ELs) who participated in the 2026 WIDA ACCESS, WIDA Kindergarten ACCESS, or WIDA Alternate ACCESS assessments. Corrected scores are now available in Infinite Campus (IC).
Students who obtained an overall composite of 4.5 or greater on WIDA ACCESS for Kindergarten or WIDA ACCESS Tier B/C are considered reaching attainment. Students who obtained an overall composite proficiency level of 3 or greater on WIDA Alternate ACCESS are considered reaching attainment.
For students who reached attainment, the English Learner (EL) records in IC should be updated as follows:

Program Status updated to Exited EL

Program Exit Date entered as 6/30/2026
- All EL Services ended as of 6/30/2026
- All EL Accommodations (instructional and assessment) ended as of 6/30/2026
KDE recommends that districts review any English Learner student record transfers that occurred within the past two weeks. Districts may need to request assessment data from the student’s previous district and rerun the Assessment Import Wizard to ensure the correct scores are imported.
