Updated 2026 WIDA ACCESS/Alternate ACCESS Scores
Corrected individual student scores for Kentucky English Learners (ELs) who participated in the 2026 WIDA ACCESS, WIDA Kindergarten ACCESS, or WIDA Alternate ACCESS assessments are now available in Infinite Campus (IC).
Students who obtained an overall composite of 4.5 or greater on WIDA ACCESS for Kindergarten or WIDA ACCESS Tier B/C are considered reaching attainment. Students who obtained an overall composite proficiency level of 3 or greater on WIDA Alternate ACCESS are considered reaching attainment.
For students who reached attainment, the EL records in IC should be updated as follows:

Program Status updated to Exited EL
-
Program Exit Date entered as 6/30/2026
- All EL Services ended as of 6/30/2026
- All EL Accommodations (instructional and assessment) ended as of 6/30/2026
The IC tool Batch Update EL will allow districts to end-date EL records, services, and accommodations. Information regarding the Batch Update EL tool can be found by selecting Tool and entering the term within the IC navigation search. The navigation path is Student Information | Program Administration | Batch Update EL. Reference Batch Updates (EL) | Infinite Campus and English Learners (EL) Batch Update Wizard - Video | Infinite Campus for guidance on effectively using the tool.
Due to the incorrect scores that were published on Friday, Aug. 21, KDE recommends that districts review any EL student record transfers that occurred within the past two days. Districts may need to request assessment data from the student’s previous district and rerun the Assessment Import Wizard to ensure the correct scores are imported.
