KDE's Commissioner's Teachers Advisory Council will meet June 17

(FRANKFORT, KY) – The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) Commissioner's Teachers Advisory Council (TAC) will meet on June 17 at 10 a.m. ET.

The council’s purpose is to improve the educational landscape of Kentucky by providing Kentucky’s commissioner of education with direct input from Kentucky’s classrooms. Bridging the gap between policy and practice, the Teachers Advisory Council was created to advise the commissioner on educational priorities so that Kentucky’s students are well-prepared for any career they choose. The goal is to have effective teaching in every school, every classroom, every day.

Meeting to be held in person and virtually via Microsoft Teams. Members of the public may view the meeting on the KDE Media Portal.
