High School Transformation in Kentucky Work Group to meet June 3

(FRANKFORT, KY) – The High School Transformation in Kentucky Work Group will meet June 3 at 9 a.m. ET. A hybrid option is available to group members to attend virtually and in person at the Kentucky Department of Education (State Board Room 514).

The National Association of State Boards of Education (NASBE) invited the Kentucky Board of Education (KBE) to participate in the High School Transformation State Network (HSTSN), which aims “to build and enhance the capacity of state boards of education to enable student experiences that foster content mastery and durable skills.” The Kentucky High School Work Group is a group of individuals focused on examining policies and implementation practices that facilitate or impede high school transformation.

Members of the public may watch the meeting in person at the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) but are encouraged to watch a live stream that will be available on the KDE Media Portal.

Those with disabilities may request reasonable accommodations by 3 p.m. ET on June 2 by emailing Taylor Perry or calling him at (502) 892-6174 ext. 4851.
