Question of the Week
Q: When will the K Screen Staff File be released to districts to update for the 2026-2027 administration?
A: The 2026-2027 staff file is set to be released to districts on Monday, May 4, 2026, through the Monday DAC Email. District Assessment Coordinators (DACs) will have the opportunity to edit the existing staff file from 2025-2026, making any changes to data entry or administrator-level accounts in the Online Management System (OMS) for their respective districts. The deadline for returning an updated file to the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) is Tuesday, July 7. Once the staff file revision deadline of July 7 has passed, DACs may refer to the Implementation Guide for guidance on adding users to the OMS.
If you have any questions concerning the upcoming staff file or K Screen process, please contact Tiffany Christopher.

Reminder: SRD and CRD Deletion Requests
Districts needing to delete students from the Student Registration Database (SRD) or the Career Readiness Database (CRD) must complete the 2026 SRD/CRD Student Deletion Request form. Requests will be processed when the deletion window begins on Monday, May 11.
Deletion requests are for students who no longer meet Kentucky’s eligibility criteria for the alternate assessment, have moved out of state, have transferred to homeschool or have passed away. If a student has moved to another district in Kentucky, please email the Statewide Student Identifier (SSID) number to Krista Mullins and include the new district and school the student attends for the student to be transferred in SRD. If a student has transferred to homeschool, please wait until closer to the end of the second window to request the deletion in the event the student re-enrolls.
For questions about the SRD, please email Krista Mullins.
Please email Sherri Craig in the Office of Career and Technical Education (OCTE) for questions regarding the CRD.
