Updated Ordering Process for 2026–2027 Kindergarten Entry Screener
The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) has released updated guidance for districts regarding the ordering process for the 2026–2027 administration of the Kindergarten Entry Screener (K Screen).
District Assessment Coordinators (DACs) and designated district K Screen contacts may submit orders to Curriculum Associates through KDE during the official ordering window, which opened on Monday, February 23 and closes Friday, April 3.
Curriculum Associates anticipates that shipping will begin the week of May 11. If deliveries are expected to arrive during summer break, districts should consider shipping materials to a central office location, such as the Board of Education, to ensure someone is available to sign for receipt.
Districts will now access, download, complete and submit the ordering form directly through the K Screen Order Submission App. The ordering form is available within the application and must be downloaded and saved before completion. Once finalized, the completed spreadsheet must be uploaded back into the app for submission.
