Question of the Week
Q: Is there a PowerPoint to assist with 2025-2026 WIDA ACCESS and WIDA Alternate ACCESS Rosters?
A: Yes. The WIDA ACCESS and WIDA Alternate ACCESS Rosters presentation to assist districts with requesting nonparticipations only in the Student Data Review and Rosters (SDRR) application can be found on the Kentucky Department of Education WIDA ACCESS landing page. When SDRR opens Jan. 5, the WIDA ACCESS and WIDA Alternate ACCESS Rosters will be blank; districts will need to add the students first before requesting nonparticipations.
For questions about WIDA ACCESS and WIDA Alternate ACCESS Rosters, please contact Chris Williams.
Alternate Kentucky Summative Assessment (AKSA) DAC Binder Pre-Orders
Similar to Window 1, DAC Binders, which include a district copy of the Required Assessment Materials (RAMs), will not be automatically shipped to districts with AKSA testing materials as in previous years. Additional details may be found in the Kentucky Alternate Assessment Back to School Training.
DACs who wish to receive a DAC Binder must pre-order by the close of business on Friday, Jan. 6. School-level binders, including RAMs, will continue to be shipped to schools as in prior years.
For districts without students eligible for the AKSA, district-level materials will still be provided in the event a student moves into the district and requires participation in the alternate assessment.
To place a DAC Binder order for Window 2, please use the DAC Binder Pre-Order for Window 2 link.
For more information or any questions, please contact Krista Mullins.
