Question of the Week
Q: When is the deadline to complete the district and school onboarding survey for the Spring 2026 SAT Junior State Administration?
A: The deadline to complete the district and school onboarding survey has been extended to Wednesday, Oct. 29.
District and School onboarding ensures that eligible schools are properly set up for the SAT state administration through College Board’s SAT Suite Ordering and Registration (SSOR) system and provides access to essential College Board systems for district and school staff beginning in late January 2026.
It is critical that both districts and schools complete the setup surveys in SSOR. Failure to do so may result in delayed communications or access issues.
District Assessment Coordinators (DACs) received an email from College Board on Monday, Oct. 6 that included:
-
with step-by-step instructions
- Access codes to obtain Access Manager rights in SSOR
Please refer to the email to complete the setup survey. DACs should check spam folders if the email is not found in the inbox. For additional assistance with access, contact Christen Roseberry.
Timeline
- The school and district setup survey will remain available through Wednesday, Oct. 29.
- Schools may make updates after their initial submission.
- Please ensure that both the district and school setup surveys have been completed by the deadline.
Account Requirements
All staff who will use SSOR to support the Spring 2026 SAT Junior State Administration must have a College Board Professional Account.

Student Registration Database (SRD) Training Available
The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) is pleased to announce that the training for the Student Registration Database (SRD) is now available ahead of the system's official opening. Districts will have access to the SRD starting tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 28, to begin editing and verifying student rosters for the upcoming testing Window.
The training is designed to ensure all district staff are fully prepared to navigate the SRD effectively, allowing for accurate updates and verification of student data. The training covers essential features of the database, including roster editing, data entry and submission procedures.
It is highly recommended that all relevant district personnel complete the training prior to the SRD opening to ensure a smooth and efficient process. The SRD plays a critical role in managing student information, and timely updates are essential for compliance and reporting accuracy.
