QC Day Confirmed
Quality Control (QC) Day will occur on Thursday, Oct. 23, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET. The purpose of QC Day is to allow District Assessment Coordinators (DACs) to identify systemic issues in accountability data prior to public release. Please note that individual student data will not be changed during QC Day, as those updates were addressed during the Fall Reporting Data Review from Aug. 13 – 21.
DACs should review the following resources prior to QC Day:
2025 QC Day Video
2025 QC Day PowerPoint
2025 Accountability Calculator PPT
2025 Accountability Calculator Demonstration
QC Day Calculator Technical Support Document
Understanding the Two Calculations in the Accountability Reporting
Understanding Kentucky’s Minimum N for School Accountability
Accountability Indicator Overall Cut Scores
As a reminder, in preparation for QC Day, DACs will need to download and complete the QC Day Nondisclosure Form, then save it electronically. Saved nondisclosures should be uploaded to the DAC Nondisclosure Submission Form by the close of business on Wednesday, Oct. 22. A nondisclosure must be submitted via the submission form to have access to data on QC Day.
A Special DAC email will be shared on Thursday, Oct. 23 when QC Day data is available. This email will provide the steps required for DACs to complete the QC Day review process.
For questions about QC Day resources or preparation, please contact DACinfo.

Additionally, released item data for science is now available in PAN. Released items that include science are available in the KY Portal.
In September 2025, a Standard Setting for Science was conducted for grades 4, 7 and 11. As a result of this standard-setting process, new student performance level cut scores were established. These updated cut scores can be accessed on the Accountability and Data Release Resources webpage.
Revised Performance Level Descriptors (PLDs) for science in grades 4, 7 and 11 are also now available on the Kentucky Summative Assessment webpage.
