Student-Level Data for Alternate Kentucky Summative Assessment (AKSA) Released Items Now Available
The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) has made student-level data for the AKSA Released Items available in the Student Data Download. This data corresponds to the released test items currently posted on the KDE Sample Test Items webpage.
District leaders are encouraged to review this information to support instructional planning and decision-making for students participating in the Alternate Assessment.
For questions, please contact Krista Mullins.
Reminder: Kentucky Alternate Assessment Program (KAAP) IC Pull for the Student Registration Database (SRD) and Career Readiness Database (CRD)
KDE will conduct an Infinite Campus (IC) data pull on Friday, Oct. 3 to populate the SRD with students identified for the Alternate Assessment. This IC pull will also provide a list of students for grades 12 and 14 working towards Career Work Experience Certification (CWEC) and the Employability Skills Assessment Record (ESAR).
To ensure accurate student records, districts must complete all updates in IC by close of business on this date. Specifically, districts should:
- Verify that all students who meet Kentucky’s Alternate Assessment Criteria are correctly marked in IC.
- Confirm that Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) are locked to ensure proper population into the SRD and CRD.
For questions, please contact Krista Mullins.
