(FRANKFORT, KY) – The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) Commissioner's Teachers Advisory Council (TAC) will meet on June 10 at 10 a.m. ET.
The council’s purpose is to improve the educational landscape of Kentucky by providing Kentucky’s commissioner of education with direct input from Kentucky’s classrooms. Bridging the gap between policy and practice, the Teachers Advisory Council was created to advise the commissioner on educational priorities so that Kentucky’s students are well-prepared for any career they choose. The goal is to have effective teaching in every school, every classroom, every day.
Meeting to be held virtually via Microsoft Teams and in-person at 300 Sower Blvd., conference room 516. Recording will be available on the KDE Media Portal.
