This training is for NEW evaluators of certified personnel only. Initial Certified Evaluation may be obtained virtually OR in person.

Certified Evaluation UPDATE Training
The 6-hour P3 Certified Evaluation UPDATE training meets the requirements outlined in 704 KAR 3:370 and KRS 156.557 that all EXPERIENCED EVALUATORS must attend a 6-hour EILA-approved training, annually.
This training is for evaluators of certified personnel who have already completed the 12-hour Initial Certified Evaluation training. The P3 Certified Evaluation Update training may be obtained virtually with a calibration focus OR in person with a focus on feedback. Both training options are newly designed for 2025-2026.

The P3 Team is excited to announce that the Kentucky Assistant Principal Cohort will continue for a third year. This cohort is designed to build the leadership capacity of assistant principals across the Commonwealth, while providing an avenue for networking and idea sharing.
Mark your calendar for the in-person kick-off event on July 17 at the Green River Regional Educational Cooperative from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. CT.
Monthly virtual meetings will be from 9:30-10:30 ET/8:30-9:30 CT and 1:30-2:30 ET/12:30-1:30 CT on the Zoom platform. Choose the time that works best for your schedule.

Commissioner's Principal Advisory Council Meeting
Tuesday, June 3, 10 a.m. ET
The Commissioner’s Principals Advisory Council (PrAC) will meet virtually on June 3 at 10 a.m. ET.
The purpose of PrAC is to provide direct input to Kentucky’s commissioner of education about important issues in Kentucky schools. The goal of the council is to ensure excellent teaching and learning is happening in every classroom in every Kentucky school.
Principals are invited to watch the PrAC meetings live or access on demand. School leaders are always encouraged to reach out to PrAC representatives to let your voice be heard as well.
Registration for Fall 2025 Cognitive Coaching Cohort
The P3 Team is excited to announce that 20 school leaders will be selected to attend Cognitive Coaching training on FULL SCHOLARSHIPS during the fall of the 2025-2026 school year. Scholarship recipients will be selected through a competitive application process.
Cognitive Coaching is an eight-day, game-changing professional learning opportunity for school leaders.
Additional Important Information:
Scholarship recipients must commit to attending all eight days of the training with a signed superintendent approval.

Safe Schools and Communities Conference
June 10-11, Great Crossing High School, Georgetown
The two-day Safe Schools and Communities Conference is free of charge and is open to principals, law enforcement officers, school administrators, safe school coordinators, directors of pupil personnel and school personnel.
Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendance at this conference includes membership in the Kentucky Association of School Resource Officers and the Kentucky DARE Association for law enforcement participants. EILA credit is pending for educators.

Kentucky's Read to Succeed Summer Conference
Anita Archer, the keynote speaker and educational consultant to state departments and school districts on explicit instruction and literacy. She has presented in all 50 states, all U.S. territories and many countries – including Australia and Canada – and has received 10 awards honoring her educational contributions. Archer has served on the faculties of three universities, including the University of Washington, the University of Oregon and San Diego State University. She is nationally known for her professional learning and she has co-authored numerous curriculum materials and a best-selling textbook addressing reading and writing.
The conference, which will require registration but will be free to Kentucky K-12 public educators, will offer focused learning pathways to meet the needs of teachers and administrators. Attendees will learn from KDE Office of Teaching and Learning consultants and partners about:
