Spring Rosters Now Open in SDRR
Rosters are now open in the Student Data Review and Rosters (SDRR) application, allowing schools and districts to begin preparations for spring testing. The application will close for new change requests on Wednesday, June 11 at 5 p.m. ET. During the spring, the available rosters include ACCESS, Alternate ACCESS, Kentucky Summative Assessment (KSA), Alternate Kentucky Summative Assessment (AKSA), and Postsecondary Readiness (PSR). District and school personnel will:
- Confirm enrolled students.
- Review and update 100-day students for accountability.
- File nonparticipation requests for students. Nonparticipations vary by each assessment.
- Add or delete students from the roster as appropriate.
- Make annotations concerning students for district use only.
- Mark accommodations for Individual Education Program (IEP) or Program Services Plan (PSP) students.
- Annotate and delete any student who withdrew prior to the testing window. Annotations are for district use only.
Nonparticipation Application Instructions by Content Area(s) (KSA and AKSA Only):
If a student is unable to participate in one or more content area assessments due to a medical condition, a medical nonparticipation request may be submitted in SDRR. To begin, locate the student in the student listing and initiate the request. SDRR will automatically display the content areas relevant to the student’s grade level.
For instance, a grade 3 student participating in KSA will show only reading and mathematics, the assessed content areas for that grade. The medical nonparticipation application needs to be uploaded just once. Then, select either all available areas or specific content areas (e.g., reading or mathematics), depending on the student’s needs.
For step-by-step guidance on submitting a nonparticipation request, refer to the “I NEED HELP” button in SDRR.
Medical Nonparticipation Reminders
- Medical Nonparticipations can be for physical, mental, and emotional issues.
- The Medical Nonparticipation form has space for a medical doctor, superintendent, or designee to sign. It must be filled out completely with the signatures prior to uploading in SDRR.
Please note: It is important to note that Medical Nonparticipations cannot be granted based on a handicapping condition.
4-Year and 5-Year Cohort
- All changes must be completed in Infinite Campus. During designated data review periods, SDRR allows submission of change requests only for issues that cannot be corrected within Infinite Campus.
- Grade 12 students lacking a G-code or complete graduation data are temporarily assigned an "On Time" status. This status will be updated based on final enrollment and graduation information.
Assistance:
- For rosters ONLY, if there are questions or issues related to IC data (Name, SSID, Date of Birth, Gender, Race/Ethnicity, EL/LEP, and Lunch Status) and difficulties adding a student with the correct SSID, please email the Enterprise Data-KSIS team, providing detailed information for IC to assist.
- For issues with IEP students in IC, please work with the district’s Director of Special Education (DoSE) to resolve any problems with special education documentation. If the district DoSE has questions, please email Amy Patterson.
- If there are SDRR login issues, please contact your district Web Application Administrator Point of Contact (WAAPOC). To report SDRR application errors, please email the KETS Service Desk.
- For questions about assessment policies or procedures, please send an email to KDE DAC Information.
- The red "I NEED HELP" button is accessible from every page in SDRR. By clicking the button, users will find answers to questions on many assessment and roster topics.
-
IC reports are available to help ensure high-quality data and assist with 100-day determinations.
- If after using the “I NEED HELP” button, districts still have questions, email KDE Assessment or call (502) 564-4394.
Please note: The February DAC Training PPT and Video on SDRR can be used to assist districts with the application. The 2024-2025 Kentucky Assessment and Accountability FAQ has questions and answers about SDRR.
Reminders
- SDRR will pre-load 100-day determinations for all students when enrollment data in Infinite Campus and testing window dates allow. Districts must review 100-day status on rosters and make updates if necessary.
- AKSA rosters in SDRR will pre-load accommodations as “Yes” for students with an active IEP.
- ACCESS and Alternate ACCESS rosters in SDRR will reflect district-submitted data finalized on March 11. Additional updates can be made during the spring roster window.
- 504 Plan accommodations are not included in accountability reporting but may be annotated in SDRR at district discretion.
- Virtual students must be scheduled for testing within the district’s testing window. Do not remove virtual students from rosters. If removed and Infinite Campus enrollment verifies attendance during the testing window, the student will be re-added during Data Review.
- Students receiving homebound, home hospital, or alternative education services will participate in testing during the district’s window unless a medical nonparticipation is requested and approved.
- For students who withdraw during the testing window, submit a “withdrew during testing window” nonparticipation request in SDRR.
- The Quality of School Climate and Safety Survey (QSCS) is included on KSA and AKSA rosters; no separate roster will be provided.
Sandbox
The Sandbox may be used to provide training and practice opportunities for new DACs and BACs. Users will log in with the same credentials as SDRR. Please keep in mind that users will see dummy student data.
Please note: Users can make changes to students in the Sandbox; this is a practice environment only, and any changes made will not affect actual student data.
For questions, please contact Chris Williams and Ben Riley.
