(FRANKFORT, KY) – The Commissioner's Teachers Advisory Council (TAC) will meet on March 11 at 10 a.m. ET.
The council’s purpose is to improve the educational landscape of Kentucky by providing Kentucky’s commissioner of education with direct input from Kentucky’s classrooms. Bridging the gap between policy and practice, the Teachers Advisory Council was created to advise the commissioner on educational priorities so that Kentucky’s students are well-prepared for any career they choose. The goal is to have effective teaching in every school, every classroom, every day.
The meeting will be held in Conference Room 516 at the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) and virtually on Microsoft Teams. The public may view it on the KDE Media Portal.
