Initial Certified Evaluation Training
All NEW EVALUATORS must attend this 2-day, 12-hour EILA credit training, per 704 KAR 3:370 and KRS 156.557 and pass the corresponding assessment.
This training is for NEW evaluators of certified personnel only. Initial Certified Evaluation may be obtained virtually OR in person. Trainings often fill up quickly. If the training date you select fills prior to your registration, you will receive a separate email within a few days asking for your second choice.

Certified Evaluation UPDATE Training
The 6-hour P3 Certified Evaluation UPDATE training meets the requirements outlined in 704 KAR 3:370 and KRS 156.557 that all EXPERIENCED EVALUATORS must attend a 6-hour EILA-approved training, annually.
This training is for evaluators of certified personnel who have already completed the 12-hour Initial Certified Evaluation training. The P3 Certified Evaluation Update training may be obtained virtually with a calibration focus OR in person with a focus on feedback. Both training options are newly designed for 2025-2026.

This session introduces participants to the Impact KY Working Conditions Survey, emphasizing the role of teacher and staff voice in shaping school and district improvement. Safe Schools and Communities Conference
June 10-11, Great Crossing High School, Georgetown
The two-day Safe Schools and Communities Conference is free of charge and is open to principals, law enforcement officers, school administrators, safe school coordinators, directors of pupil personnel and school personnel.
Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendance at this conference includes membership in the Kentucky Association of School Resource Officers and the Kentucky DARE Association for law enforcement participants. EILA credit is pending for educators.

Kentucky's Read to Succeed Summer Conference
Anita Archer, the keynote speaker and educational consultant to state departments and school districts on explicit instruction and literacy, has presented in all 50 states, all U.S. territories and many countries – including Australia and Canada – and has received 10 awards honoring her educational contributions. Archer has served on the faculties of three universities, including the University of Washington, the University of Oregon and San Diego State University. She is nationally known for her professional learning and she has co-authored numerous curriculum materials and a best-selling textbook addressing reading and writing.
The conference, which will require registration but will be free to Kentucky K-12 public educators, will offer focused learning pathways to meet the needs of teachers and administrators. Attendees will learn from KDE Office of Teaching and Learning consultants and partners about:
