Important Update: Correction to Attainment Task Reading Grade 4 C  

It has been brought to the Kentucky Department of Education’s (KDE) attention that Reading Grade 4 C question number 2 on page 5 has an error. The answer choices are currently labeled “a, b, a” instead of “a, b, c” on the page the test administrator reads from. To ensure clarity and accuracy for students, the following steps must be taken: 

For Test Administrators: 

• Prior to testing, correct the labeling. 

• Cross out the second “a” and replace it with “c” on test administrator materials. 

For District Assessment Coordinators (DACs): 

• Update the same correction in the secure test binder to maintain consistency and provide accurate materials in the event duplicates are needed.
