(FRANKFORT, KY) – The Kentucky Department of Education's (KDE's) Health Education and Physical Education Advisory Panels and Review Committee working group will meet in-person on Sept. 20 at 9 a.m. ET.
KRS 158.6453 calls for KDE to implement a process for reviewing all academic standards and aligned assessments. The schedule calls for one or two content areas to be reviewed each year, and every six years after that on a rotating basis.
The Health Education and Physical Education Advisory Panels (APs) and Review Committee (RC) are composed of Kentucky elementary, middle and high school teachers, community members and members from postsecondary education institutions.
